Poem: May God bless the Dog

Ever wondered why
it's mostly a dog
who is hit by a vehicle
and dies on the road.

May be because he thinks too much
or he takes too much time
to decide -
should he take left or right,
or his decision was wrong or right.
And in that time
a car hits him
and another dog dies
on the road.

Its very rare that
on a road a cat dies.
Because they think only one thing
at one point of time.
And that's how they take the
right decision on time.

Animals like cow or buffalo
who are not intelligent and are slow
don't die very frequently on the road
even if they ignore the horn.
Either they continue with the same pace
or they stand still.
But whatever decision they take,
they just stick to it.
Rest they leave it on their fate,
on man's reflexes and vehicle's breaks.
We have a strange understanding
with them which fails very rarely.
Is it God's craziness or his perfection?
We do have with them some psychic connection.

And the pigs for sure
do not die on the road
who live along the road
but never comes on the road.
They know their territory,
know where they should or should not be.
They listen to their elders
and obey the rules.
Their strength is in their roots
and that's why never eat the forbidden fruit.
Pigs are all pure and in values they believe,
they should have been the Adam and Eve.
Though they eat shit
and live in chasm
but because of their one quality they don't die on road
and blessed with 30 minutes orgasm.

But this poem is not for the ones who lives
but for the ones who dies
that too on the road.
May God bless the dog.
Amen.
