Poem : Sailor O' Sailor

He could have sailed
through the entire sea comfortably.
Provided he would have trusted
his boat completely.

Every boat is unique
and there is a way to control it.
A good sailor knows everything about his boat
and trust it before he leaves the shore.

Sailing is fun in calm sea and bright light.
But no one knows when storms comes and strikes.
Strom not from outside but from inside
is dangerous as everything it can blight.

They could have sailed happily in the sea
- which is as big as life itself.
But while sailing his boat – which can carry tones,
he kept on looking for ‘the better ones’.

At the time of turmoil
The boat stared shaking.
So did he.
Only to add to it.

He should have sailed the boat
away from the storms.
Or atleast, he should have firmly held the boat
boat would have never got drown.

In exasperation, he jumped to the boat
floating just next to him.
Which was looking better
since beginning.

Ohh! This boat is shaking even more. He felt fear
as the previous boat is no way near.
He realized that shaking was because of him.
Now should he sail in the same boat or jump out and swim?

Poem : untitled

These days Hindu, Muslim, Sikh
Christian and Jain
- look alike
they look the same
Especially in the morning train
from Dadar to Churchgate.
Crowd has no religion
And nobody I love, nobody I hate.

Sometimes they offer me their seat
Sometimes they hit me with their knees
Sometimes they come on the road and declare strike
Certainly, these days they look alike.

May be I don’t have time
to think about anybody’s religion.
In this fast moving life
time is less for me, my own belief and my own religion.
I don’t want any revenge now
all I think is of me & my generation.
Now I have other worries-boss, job, production
House rent, credit card EMI and recession.
