Poem : Fun part of my life

You always said the same line-
“One day I will leave you”.
You were my life line
And I never believed you.

I remember that evening,
You didn’t say that line.
I thought you were acting funny,
So, I didn’t follow you – this time.

Now, even if we want
You can’t come back to me.
It's a bit funny and a bit sad.
But sweetheart, you should have told me!!
