Poem : An eye for an eye
An eye for an eye,
a nose for a nose
You "ll get your punishment,
You "ll get your dose.
An arm for an arm,
a leg for a leg.
If its not complete here,
you will pay in hell.
But am i looking for justice,
or for the reasons to satisfy my ego?

Mostly to feed your ego. Sometime, however, there are genuine reasons as well. And there lies the classic dilemma of the conscious - to do or not to do.

if one does crime intentially then it's justice . hanging kasab to death is not an eye for an eye.
